Reception
And Administrative Staff
The practice presently employs 17 staff covering reception, secretarial and administrative
duties. They are there to help you in complete confidence with your enquiries
and requests. Please give them sufficient details so they may always assist you
as efficiently as possible. Their job is very demanding and often they are very
busy, so please be patient.
Practice
Nurses And Health Care Support Workers
We have six registered general nurses who are assisted by four support workers.
All the practice nurses have additional qualifications and can see patients in
booked appointments for routine procedures such as blood pressure checks, removal
of stitches, dressings and wound care management, ear syringing, immunisation
and travel, asthma, diabetes, coronary care, well man and woman checks, smears,
HRT and contraception. The nurses also work in the duty clinic, with the duty
doctor, where they assess and, where appropriate, treat patients who request medical
attention.
